TRAVELING TO CHINA ADVICE PAGE!
|
Throughout the China pages, I offer both some of my own commentary as well
as background on the places you are looking at. The background
information was actually written by my sister Deanna, and I want to say
thank you to her for her help with the text on this site!

We ate lunch at a museum/art gallery. The pictures
above are of the beautiful art that was for sale.
We then went to Tian Anmen Square.
Some sites
to see in Tian Anmen Square are the Great Hall of the People and the China
Revolutionary museum. Also, in Tian Anmen square every day is a big
ceremony for rising and taking down the Chinese flag. The Forbidden City
is called the Forbidden City because it was only for the Emperor and the
Emperors people, so it was forbidden to the commoners. The Forbidden City
is made up of rows and rows of buildings, and beautiful statues.
